Magic City Television Series using SoftSun Lights
This television series using SoftSun lights leveraged a package of SoftSun lights for both seasons of shooting. The package included:
- 3.5 Parabolic SoftSun lights
- 10K SoftSun lights
- 3.6K SoftSun lights
- 50K SoftSun lights
Magic City, a period series for Starzz network shot in Miami, used Softsun lights as their primary lighting source instead of HMI’s. The SoftSun lights provided the perfect versatility for exterior and interior filming.
SoftSun lights are becoming increasingly popular as a more versatile, better color rendering light source for usage in Digital Photography (Magic City was shot on the Alexa). Also, the 3.5K Parabolic Softsun (aka. Nasa Light, Jiffy Pop) is becoming the light of choice to remove those unwanted lines of age on the performers skin.
